Why Alpacas?
Alpacas are raised for their luxurious fleece, which is similar to
cashmere, and softer, stronger and warmer than wool.
Breeders enjoy an enviable life style raising these eco-friendly
animals. Alpacas require minimal care, have engaging personalities,
and can generate excellent revenue.
Cooperation is a hallmark of our national industry. Alpaca
breeders benefit from shared experiences in husbandry, marketing and
education.
